To expand our team, we are looking for a committed and decisive Foreman.

What will you do?

As a foreman, you ensure smooth progress of the work on the construction site. You instruct, motivate and monitor the team of carpenters and other construction site employees. You are (jointly) responsible for managing the construction process and ensure that the execution meets our high quality standards.
In addition, you monitor safety, health and the environment, as well as the overall quality of the work. You also take care of the necessary administrative tasks that are part of the execution.

Calculator 28-40 hours

Due to growth, Van Mourik Bouw B.V. is immediately looking for a Calculator for 28-40 hours per week to build beautiful projects with us!

Do you not shy away from a challenge, do you have good technical insight and do you see it as a challenge to calculate projects and also bring them in as a team? Then we are looking for you for this challenging position. You will get started with requesting quotes, checking the incoming quotes and extracting quantities after which you process them into a complete budget. Drawing up quotations and purchasing various components are also part of your tasks. For this, you will work with various project managers, work planners, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.

Where will you work?
You will work for a close-knit, informal family business that has been around for over 40 years. For us, quality, service and love for the profession are central. We are a medium-sized construction company with projects throughout the Netherlands, including several in and around Amsterdam. In the position of Calculator, you will mainly work from our office in Ophemert, together with other calculators. You will also regularly go along to a recording for a new project, so that you can make a good budget. We find cooperation very important and you will see a lot of this. The culture in the company is informal. For example, we have lunch together every day and there are regular meetings with all the staff. Our employees work here with a lot of ambition, are driven and have a passion for their profession.

What will you do specifically?
As a calculator at Van Mourik Bouw, you will work with a professional team on large and small projects throughout the Netherlands. Within this position you are responsible for:

• Drawing up various calculations;
• Requesting quotes;
• Drawing up quotation mirrors;
• Ordering materials;
• Supporting work planners;
• Working on historical buildings, luxury residences;
• Working with well-known architects;
• Personal contact with clients and subcontractors;

What do we expect from you?

• You have MBO/HBO work and thinking level;
• You have experience in the field of calculating;
• You have experience with a calculation program;
• You have a good architectural and technical insight;
• You have a flexible and collegial attitude;
• You have some mastery of the Microsoft Office package;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language.

• At least 10 years of work experience as a carpenter (with demonstrable reference);

What you’ll do
As a Maintenance Work Planner, you’ll be the central figurehead. You’ll ensure that maintenance projects run smoothly – from initial inspection to completion. Your days are anything but boring:
