Metaprint

Heerenveen

Van Mourik Bouw removed the existing concrete floor in the industrial hall for Metaprint in Heerenveen. Metaprint was founded in 1891 and has grown into an international company with branches in Estonia, Russia and the Netherlands (since 2018). Van Mourik Bouw constructed 1,762 tubular steel piles and a new company floor on top of these piles. This industrial floor has a load of 15,000 kg per m2. 120,000 kg of reinforcement steel has been incorporated into the entire floor.

In addition to the fact that Van Mourik Bouw renewed the floor, the entire business premises were also renovated. In total, the construction time took 28 weeks.

Details

Because printing metal and producing aerosols are metaprint’s specialties, a printer line was created for printing steel plates. In addition, the entire floor was provided with a smooth coating, so that the floor can be kept clean and dust-free.
