For Samada Flowers in Poederoijen, we managed the entire project: from design and planning permission applications to the construction of the modern commercial building, including all the concrete work. A key part of this project was the construction of an extensive loading pit with a double dock, a flower reception pit and a fully underground transport tunnel. This tunnel facilitates both the internal transport of flowers and the removal of green waste, contributing to efficient and clean operations. The chrysanthemum nursery covers an impressive cultivation area of approximately 10 hectares. Samada Flowers cultivates entirely organically and uses sustainable techniques. For instance, the entire nursery is equipped with full-LED lighting, which contributes to energy efficiency and optimal plant growth.
This project is a fine example of how functionality, sustainability and architectural quality come together in a single high-quality greenhouse and commercial building development.
