ArcelorMittal’s production hall and office space, with a gross floor area of 7,000 m², was completed in just 28 weeks. Van Mourik Bouw carried out this project on behalf of A&W Vastgoed B.V. (NL) and Risea Dritte Holland Immobilien GmbH (a company incorporated under Swiss law) and Co KG (DE).
In addition to the production hall, the building also serves as an office. The office space has a gross floor area of 1,000 m². To give these spaces an open feel, extensive use has been made of glazing, and they feature a luxurious finish. ArcelorMittal has a particularly sleek and industrial look both inside and out; it also features a gas-free installation using a heat pump system, including climate control.
