bringing structure and making improvements? Then we’re looking for you to be our new Junior Maintenance Project Manager!
About our team
Van Mourik Bouw B.V. is a family-run business that has been in operation for over 40 years. Quality, craftsmanship and team spirit are very important to us. Our Service & Maintenance team is growing rapidly. Every day, we work on a wide range of maintenance projects, from scheduled maintenance to service jobs and major renovations.
Demand is increasing and the team is expanding, which is why we are looking for a hands-on work planner who enjoys fulfilling a dual role. In this role, you will be partly involved in work planning and will also help to restructure the team. You will maintain an overview, support colleagues and, together with us, continue to build a strong and professional organisation.
What will you be doing?
- You manage the Service & Maintenance team in consultation with the team leader.
- You handle the work planning for maintenance projects and service work.
- You schedule work and ensure that materials, suppliers and subcontractors are arranged in good time.
- You liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- You carry out structural surveys and produce clear reports based on them.
- You translate structural surveys into clear cost estimates, schedules and work orders.
- You monitor the progress of work and support the team with queries arising from the execution.
- You identify bottlenecks in processes and actively contribute ideas for improvements within the team.
What you bring to the role
- A background in construction (at MBO or HBO level).
- You have experience as a work planner, site supervisor, project coordinator or in a similar role.
- You are a natural leader, have strong communication skills and know how to motivate people.
- You value structure, efficiency and quality.
- You are able to switch easily between the big picture and practical implementation.
- You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week.
- You have strong communication skills and are customer-focused.
What you get from us
- A challenging role with a high level of responsibility and scope for initiative.
- The opportunity to have a real influence on the growth and structure of our team.
- A positive working atmosphere with short lines of communication and committed colleagues.
- An attractive salary and good employment conditions.
- Fun outings, Friday afternoon drinks and a lovely Christmas hamper.
